Before Engagio, Heidi was the Group Vice President of Global Marketing at Marketo. When she’s not working with clients, DeShelia volunteers her time within her local community. She’s an active member of the Raleigh Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a board member for StepUp Ministry, and an active member of the Junior League of Raleigh, serving as an incoming At-Large Director on the board.
She currently lives in Raleigh, NC, with her very active rescue dog Sasha and is working on her first book.
Dr. Mansur Khamitov (PhD, MBA) is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University. He obtained his Ph.D. from the Ivey Business School, University of Western Ontario (Canada).
Mansur’s research has been published in the leading marketing (Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Consumer Psychology, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science), psychology (Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Cognition) and popular press (Harvard Business Review) outlets. Mansur has been recognized as a 2020-21 Research in Practice Award Co-Winner and 2017-18 Rising Star by the American Marketing Association’s Consumer Behavior Special Interest Group as well as a 2017 Highly Commended Doctoral Research Award recipient by Emerald/EFMD.
Prior to starting his Ph.D., he spent several years working in fast-moving consumer goods and the pharmaceutical industry. His industry experience is mostly in branding and marketing management, including work as a senior product manager at Polpharma and a brand manager at Procter & Gamble, where he managed such brands as Oral-B, Blend-A-Med (Crest), Camay, and Safeguard.
Mansur’s research and opinion pieces have been quoted or featured by Forbes, The Economist, Harvard Business Review, Washington Post, CNA, Medium, TODAY, Herald-Tribune, The Business Times, and American Marketing Association among others. He also currently serves as an Editorial Review Board (ERB) Member for the Journal of Consumer Psychology and an Advisory Board Member for Simpler Media Group, Inc. Maureen Conlon is a digital media consultant with extensive experience designing and implementing digital marketing strategy to accelerate lead generation, improve brand presence and increase conversions. She has 19 years of teaching experience in the technology and marketing space, most recently at Monmounth University where Ms. Conlon teaches digital and international marketing.
